Kelley is preceded in death by her Father Rickey James Marlar, her Mother Shirley Elaine Dunfee, her Grandmother Virginia Marlar, her Grandfather Jimmie Marlar, and her Grandfather Joe Harris, and her Mother-in-law Doinan Kavanaugh. Her beautiful smile shines down on us today. Kelley’s devotion to her family, her friends, and to her Lord and Savior gives us all faith that we will see her again in Heaven. Kelley surrounded herself with positive healing influences and began a new journey that included the support from a Glamping group that became her Tribe. She remained steadfast in her love for Christ Jesus, positive of the healing power of the Lord, faithful in God’s grace and hopeful for a cure. She never allowed this to define who she was. Four years later, her life was changed with the discovery of stage 4 breast cancer. Kelley never took the short path and fought hard through every step of this journey. They built their home in College Station where they had two beautiful twins daughters, Kate and Sara, in 2007. She met the love of her life, Ross Kavanaugh, in 1995 and later married in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1998. She maintained many lifelong relationships from her dedication and mentorship of her colleagues. She attended TCU and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1990 and started her career in financial services, moving quickly into management positions. Lee High School in 1986, still keeping in touch with many of her girlfriends who continued to provide love and support when she needed it most. Kelley was born in Lubbock, Texas, on February 29, 1968, and grew up in Tyler, Texas, graduating from Robert E. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station. There will be a private family interment at the College Station Memorial Cemetery. A Life Tribute Celebration service is set for 11 am Tuesday, March 27, at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station with Rev. A time for visitation will be from 6 until 8pm Monday, March 26, 2018, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center, 3001 S College Ave in Bryan.
